ADR (Alternate Dispute Resolution)

Alternative dispute resolution (ADR) means finding ways to solve problems without going to court. Some common ways to do this are through mediation, arbitration, and neutral evaluation. These methods are usually private, less formal, and not as stressful as going to regular court.

ADR is often quicker and cheaper. In mediation, the people involved have a big part in working out their issues. This can lead to creative solutions, longer-lasting results, more satisfaction, and better relationships.

When your insurance claim gets denied, Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) steps in to help settle the disagreement without going to court, which can save you time and money.

ADR involves using a neutral third party to resolve issues outside of the courtroom. The outcomes might be suggestions or legally binding decisions without the chance to appeal.

However, ADR isn’t the best choice for criminal law situations or when one party has much more power than the other.
